Travel is a wonderful thing, isn’t it? Everyone packs their bags, their important stuff, and sometimes a bunch of stuff that is totally unnecessary for where they’re going and takes off. Sometimes it’s somewhere exotic and sometimes it’s only a short trip to visit family. But wherever it is, travel is exciting.
Yes, I’ve travelled different places. And since I’m here writing this post about travel, I’m going to drown you all in photos of the various places I’ve been. I’m also going to tell you a bit about each place.
The cottage is where I grew up. Each summer we would pack our bags, get into our van and leave to go and spend a couple weeks at our cottage. My great-grandparents built and owned our cottage in 1947 and after they died my grandma and grandpa took over. Ever since they have been keeping it and taking care of it. At the cottage, we swim, eat, kayak, and go to the most amazing ice-cream place ever.
I live very close to Montreal and have visited there a couple times. Both the old city and the newer city I find interesting. Montreal is full of life, right on the water, and such a nice touristy city. The first time I went there I was very young, we went for my sister’s graduation. The highlight of that trip was my first time being in a revolving restaurant!
Dancing Wheels looked interesting to my sister, so packing up we went down to Cleveland, Ohio. While she danced every day, my parents and I would tour around. We went walking on beaches, exploring museums, and going into real war submarines.
Toronto is another place that I’ve grown up in. Though when I go and visit family, I never actually get to tour all the nice places that Toronto has. So, my parents decided to take me to Toronto and do a bunch of touristy stuff, and so I got to visit around!
Taking a trip all the way out in eastern Canada was one of the most beautiful thing ever. Seeing Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and P.E.I. all in one trip and seeing how different it is than Ontario is stunning.
The most exotic place I’ve been, Israel was one of the most exotic places in the world. Touring places that I’ve learned about since I was little, from the Bible and to see them all in real life was something that not many people get to experience and something that I’ll not forget.
Summer is a time for travelling. One summer my family decided to go to Kentucky, and visit Niagara Falls on our way home. We went to the Creation Museum, along with the Ark, and we also visited multiple horse farms, the Kentucky Derby racetrack and a couple other things along the way.
Pennsylvania and Virginia
For my one of my close friends birthdays, we were invited to go and see Jonah at Sight & Sounds Theatres in Pennsylvania. This trip was the quickest trip I’ve ever taken and probably one of the most exciting. Not only did we see an amazing show, tour Pennsylvania and learn so much from the Amish that live down there, but I also got to go down to Virginia and meet one of my closest friends. This experience of meeting someone that I have never seen before but am insanely close to was one of the best feelings in the world.
y’all you all enjoyed learning about all my trips! I’m excited to share any future travels with you!
I’d love to know where you guys have travelled! Your favourite place so far? Your least favourite place so far? Where do you want to go to in the future?
